Skysurfer Pendant Series #2
A circular, Sterling Silver pendant holding an oval Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. A large, gently hued turquoise sits atop a half dome, textured piece of oxidized silver.
The Sleeping Beauty turquoise mine was named after the Arizona mountain range where it is located, which from a distance is said to resemble a sleeping woman with her arms crossed. Increased government regulations and mining costs led to the mine's closure in 2012. Since then, Sleeping Beauty turquoise has become more valuable.
Wanderground was able to acquire this deadstock turquoise through a special connection.
