W Series | Aquamarine

One of a kind, never to be recreated is wanderground’s W Series. Coming with a Sterling Silver Cuban Chain with a handcrafted clasp and sand casted pendant with faceted gemstones ranging from blue sapphires and aquamarines to red garnets and rubies. This piece features a square, pointed perfectly translucent and reflective aquamarine. Holes in the back of the pendant allow light to shine through. Colours dance around in the aquamarine when the light shines just right.

The Aquamarine featured in this piece is repurposed.

Sand casting is a very old method of casting using special sand, and a shaped object to make jewelry. The artist creates a carved form to create an impression in the sand, the form is then removed to create a hollow and metal is then poured in, creating a one of a kind piece of jewellery with unique textures.
