Brass Filter Expression | Turquoise

A sand casted, wide, abstract form pendant with two extending arms and a central oval with lines emanating out from the centre. To the side is a small circular turquoise inlay, chain included.

Turquoise inlay is recycled turquoise powder.

This pendant comes with non-recycled/partially recycled, gold plated chain, base of non-allergenic nickel-free surgical stainless steel.

 Sand casting is a very old method of casting using special sand, and a shaped object to make jewelry. The artist creates a carved form to create an impression in the sand, the form is then removed to create a hollow and metal is then poured in, creating a one of a kind piece of jewellery with unique textures.
