Two hanging sand casted forms with one large circular red web turquoise and two smaller raw green tourmaline. The hanging piece sits on a double bail hanging from the chain, and a double bail again between the two square sections. The gentle natural textures from the sand casting glimmers and the natural tourmaline glows with changing light.

The Kingman turquoise mine, operated by the Colbaugh family in Arizona, is the only active source of turquoise in the United States. Historical evidence indicates turquoise mining in the region as far back as 600CE, with ancient tools unearthed in 1962. This Kingman Turquoise stone is completely natural and unaltered.

This Green Tourmaline is repurposed from Brazil.

Sand casting is a very old method of casting using special sand, and a shaped object to make jewelry. The artist creates a carved form to create an impression in the sand, the form is then removed to create a hollow and metal is then poured in, creating a one of a kind piece of jewellery with unique textures.
