Kyanite Blue Pendant

A large polished kyanite stone in a gold plated pendant. Sand casted and lines going outwards on the pendants form, and a beautiful styled partial open back showing the stone from behind.

This Kyanite was bought in Nepal in 2013, and is a part of Wandergrounds collection of stones that was purchased before our ethical stone commitment.

This pendant comes with non-recycled/partially recycled, gold plated chain, base of non-allergenic nickel-free surgical stainless steel.

Sand casting is a very old method of casting using special sand, and a shaped object to make jewelry. The artist creates a carved form to create an impression in the sand, the form is then removed to create a hollow and metal is then poured in, creating a one of a kind piece of jewellery with unique textures.
