Shallow Water Pendant

A square gold plated pendant holding a rough translucent Aquamarine. Sand casted and decorated with lines coming out from the centre.

The raw aquamarine is from Brazil, and is a part of Wanderground’s collection that was purchased prior to our ethical stone commitment.

This pendant comes with non-recycled/partially recycled, gold plated chain, base of non-allergenic nickel-free surgical stainless steel.

Sand casting is a very old method of casting using special sand, and a shaped object to make jewelry. The artist creates a carved form to create an impression in the sand, the form is then removed to create a hollow and metal is then poured in, creating a one of a kind piece of jewellery with unique textures.
