A small teardrop of smooth and clear Golden Hills turquoise, with some inclusions of darker matrix. Set in a sand casted square of sterling silver, a border of lines and squares covers the edges. 

Golden Hills Turquoise, is one of the most distinct-looking turquoise varieties in the market. Its light baby blue appearance, coupled with light brown to brown "lavender" matrixes makes for an exceptionally beautiful stone. This unique combination makes it a sought-after gem among turquoise enthusiasts.

Sand casting is a very old method of casting using special sand, and a shaped object to make jewelry. The artist creates a carved form to create an impression in the sand, the form is then removed to create a hollow and metal is then poured in, creating a one of a kind piece of jewellery with unique textures.
